Our solutions
New buildings
Expand your business at minimal cost and improve your working conditions with a new building largely financed by Mexens (formerly Technique Solaire). We’ll take care of all the administrative, financial and technical aspects of your construction project.
Low-cost construction
Turnkey project
Single point of contact
A new building to help your business grow, funded by solar power
We offer support for the construction of agricultural, equestrian or industrial buildings. The principle is as follows: Mexens finances the majority of the construction costs for your solar building in exchange for the right to operate the solar roof for the duration of the lease. You receive a new building that is largely financed.
In practical terms, Mexens covers the cost of the roof structure, the roofing (roof and solar panels), the foundations (depending on the location), the connection, and all the administrative procedures. The electricity generated by the panels is fed into the grid and generates revenue that finances your building.
Key features of the solution
We offer support for building construction. This scheme enables you to build a property at a lower cost by letting Mexens handle the administrative, financial and technical aspects of your project, whilst covering the majority of the construction costs.

Turnkey
Mexens handles all the necessary procedures and administrative costs: planning permission, surveying, and notary fees.
A single point of contact for your entire project.
Adaptable
A wide range of buildings: various sizes (1,400 to 2,500 m²), various roof options (quarter, third, symmetrical), with or without internal posts.
Improve your working conditions and those of your employees, as well as livestock rearing conditions (animal welfare).
Sustainable
You are contributing to the energy transition and the reduction of CO2 emissions thanks to the electricity generated by the solar panels installed on the roof of your building.

Frequently asked questions about photovoltaic buildings
A photovoltaic building is a structure that integrates photovoltaic solar panels on its roof to produce electricity from solar energy. The panels are made up of solar cells that convert sunlight into electricity. The buildings constructed by Mexens are then connected to the local power grid to feed in the electricity produced.
A photovoltaic building uses solar panels to generate electricity from sunlight. The panels installed on the roof surface have a nominal power expressed in kWp. Electricity production depends on several factors such as the surface area of installed panels, their nominal power, and the quality of sunlight exposure.
Reduced investment: construction is partially financed through the sale of electricity, significantly lowering upfront costs. Supporting farm development: a new building helps modernize and support the growth of your operation (increased livestock, additional storage space), while improving working conditions. Enhancing your image: building a photovoltaic structure contributes to the energy transition and reduces CO2 emissions.
To ensure optimal lifespan of the photovoltaic system, regular maintenance is essential. Monitoring and maintenance are handled by Mexens, which has its own technical teams to guarantee high-quality service (panel cleaning, repairs, etc.).
