The project
This photovoltaic agricultural building provides ample space for storage (equipment, forage and cereals) and stabling, designed to ensure the well-being of the animals while optimizing farm management. This solution has also enabled the farmer to repatriate his livestock, previously housed in a rented building 4 km from the farm, thus centralizing his activities on the company site. This has saved him time and money, while providing him with a modern building suited to livestock farming. A structure designed to combine energy efficiency and comfort at every stage.
Characteristics & impact
Commissioned in 2023, this 2,271 m² gable-roof building supports the farm’s transition to the next generation. It modernizes the infrastructure—providing livestock housing, as well as storage for equipment, fodder, and grain—while harnessing 431 kWp of rooftop solar energy, equivalent to the consumption of 188 households and 4.45 tonnes of avoided CO₂ emissions per year.
