The project

The Chambonchard wind farm, also known as Aérodis Les Chaumes, is located in the municipality of Chambonchard in the Creuse department, Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. In operation since 2012, it comprises 6 Vestas V100 turbines with a total installed capacity of 12 MW, equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of approximately 6,000 households. Integrated into Technique Solaire’s portfolio through the acquisition of Iberdrola Renouvelables France, this wind farm is part of a wider wind energy cluster in Creuse, alongside the neighbouring Boussac wind farm.
