Herbitzheim Wind Farm
Herbitzheim – Bas-Rhin (67)
The project
The Herbitzheim wind farm, located in the Bas-Rhin department in the Grand Est region, consists of 5 turbines with a total installed capacity of 10 MW. Integrated into Mexens’s portfolio through the acquisition of Iberdrola Renouvelables France, this wind farm contributes to renewable energy production in the Alsace region.
Its operation is part of the group’s diversification strategy, which now combines onshore wind energy with solar photovoltaics and biogas to address the challenges of the energy transition.
A wind farm rooted in its territory, serving local and sustainable energy.
